Taking time out of our day to make time for our sisters is SO important to us. We have sisterhoods throughout the semester to create a stronger bond and come together to remind us why we are all here.
Some sisterhoods we have done this semester include a Cycle Bar class, a yoga sisterhood, an ice cream bar fundraiser for another chapter's philanthropy, watching the Bachelor, going to see $5 movies on Movie Monday's, and making braille valentines to give to the Akron Blind Center!
Our sister Brooke Steiner, a sophomore, said, "Sisterhoods mean time for me to get closer with my sisters. We spend so much time stressing out, that sisterhoods remind me that no matter what happens I'll always have my sisters having my back. It's always a good time laughing with your sisters and forgetting about all my worries for that certain time. These are the girls I'll be able to call my best friends for the rest of my life."
Hannah Rajan, a junior, recently started her own company so she had a sisterhood at her house to promote it! She said, "Starting my own company was nerve wrecking! Having the support of my sisters made it so much easier. My sisterhood/launch party was so much fun and less stressful with all the love and support there. Couldn't do what I do without these lovely ladies."
We spent our Galentine's Day decorating cookies and making braille valentine cards for the Akron Blind Center. We love to be involved with our philanthropy, Service For Sight, as much as we possibly can, and having the ability to give back hands on, makes us so excited!
Any time we have with our sisters, is a time well spent!
