Dear Delta Gamma,

We haven’t known each other for long, but I already know I love you. After going through recruitment my sophomore year, I knew I wanted to be a DG after FSL Fest. Recruitment was a breeze but the semester soon took a turn for me. Unfortunately, I opted out of membership for Fall semester (which I regret more than anything), but I’m so glad I stuck with it.

My new membership period was incredibly awkward and discouraging as I was the ONLY person going through it. But Gamma Epsilon welcomed me with arms wide open & made me feel so loved & cared about. To the girls who constantly reached out to me and made sure I was having a good experience: thank you so much. You have ALL made me feel incredibly special.

Although I still don’t know most of you, I am so proud to be apart of this organization. I’ve chosen to live in the house this upcoming year so I can surround myself with women who share the same ideals & goals as me. I am so excited to live with these girls for an entire school year, I can honestly say I’ve never been this excited for something.

So, thank you all. You’ve really made me feel like I belong here & for that, I am so thankful. I already know I’ll have forever friends from this amazing group of women. I’m so looking forward to this year with you all.

With lots of love,

Brittany Wilson
