Luck is a big symbol of the month of March. Today, we're not talking about the luck of the Irish. We're thinking about all the ways that we feel so lucky to be a Delta Gamma. Listen to some of the reasons why our sisters feel happy to be a part of this sisterhood.
Paige Orahood (MC Fall 2022)
"I am so lucky to be a DG because the friendships I’ve gained have been life-changing. I will forever be grateful for meeting the people I didn’t know I needed. I have formed relationships with sisters who serve as mentors in academic and professional circles, and I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge their guidance and constant support as I navigate this new chapter of my life."
Izzy Leone (MC Fall 2020)
"I feel lucky to be a DG and to feel constantly supported and loved by my friend Bella! We knew each other prior to recruitment, but when saw each other’s names on Bid Day, it was an instant reconnection, and we have even best friends ever since. She’s one of those friends that you know would listen to you for hours just to make you feel validated and heard. I also feel extremely lucky to be in this chapter because of the constant opportunities to give back to the community. My chapter is always working hands-on within the community. Volunteering is mutually beneficial because not only do so many shelters and nonprofits currently need volunteers and help, but it makes you feel good when you know your time is going somewhere that is needed. My favorite is the sight center in Cleveland! Every Tuesday, I volunteer and spend time with my friend, Sharron!"
Bella Palowitz (MC Fall 2020)
"I feel lucky to be a DG every time I'm around these women that have become so dear to my heart. The close connections I have made with my sisters constantly prove that I picked the right home in Delta Gamma. My fam and past roommates from the DG house are groups that remind me there is so much happiness to be found in connection. And friends like Izzy and Tierney show me that I am supported, loved, and appreciated just the way I am. These people always make me smile, and some of my greatest college memories are with these women that I call sisters."
Hannah Stark (MC Fall 2020)
"Being a Delta Gamma has made me feel like the luckiest woman, being a part of an organization so empowering and inspirational. This organization has helped me truly understand what it means to be a part of something much larger than myself. Having the opportunity every day to do good within my chapter and in the community has provided me with no greater feeling."
Hayley Vitale (MC Fall 2019)
"I am so lucky to be a DG because I have the chance to make a difference every day within myself and others. I feel like the biggest difference I can make is by supporting and acting on something bigger than myself. Getting out and giving back to my community through volunteering has been so fulfilling. This chapter has given me so many amazing opportunities. I’ve hit the jackpot when it comes to sisterhood."
Jo Georges (MC Fall 2020)
"I feel lucky to be in DG because I have a community of amazing women that I am able to know and be inspired by. I am so lucky to have my fam, my g-big, big, and little in my life. They are some of the coolest, prettiest, and most amazing women I know."
Raigen McGranahan (MC Spring 2022)
"I’m lucky I’m a DG because I met the girls that I can truly say are true friends, and not only are we friends, but we’re bonded by a sisterhood that truly values all of my expectations for myself and the people I want to be around."
Every sister in Gamma Epsilon has a reason that they joined this chapter and a reason that they stay. The bonds we've created through Delta Gamma are for life, and we wanted to take the luckiest day of the year to celebrate what we're grateful for.
